CARING FOR THE BRAIN



The brain directs all body functions. By taking care of the brain and meeting its needs, the health of the rest of the organ and body part is promoted.
THE BRAIN WELL- PROTECTED BUT VERY NEEDY
No organ in the body is better protected physically than the most the brain. The brain is also the most threatened organ in these special times in which we live. Trauma, infections, unbalance diets, toxins, environmental contaminants, addictive drugs, and stress all pose an increasing threat to the brain’s ability to perform its higher and complex functions.
As a result, is brain is currently the organ that requires the most protection and care.
1.          Taking care of the basic needs: Oxygen and glucose are the brain’s two basic needs, without these substances, the brain simply does not work.
2.          Healthy habits: Good hydration, regular rest, physical activity and breathing fresh air, among other habits, promote good brain function.
3.          Food for the brain: Foods definitely influence brain function. Some foods and certain plants have a confirmed neuroprotective effect, and their regular use keeps neurons in good condition.
4.          Psychological and spiritual care: For good functioning the brain also need psychological and spiritual care. All human need to love and  be loved, and in this way, brain performance improves.
